A PROPHETIC TIMELINE TEST: TRUMPETS, IRAN, TWO WITNESSES, WORMWOOD, BLOOD MOONS, AND THE KINGDOM
I’m not setting dates.
Let’s get that clear right out of the gate.
But I am watching the board, and right now the board is lit up.
Jesus told us to watch. He didn’t tell us to act like fools with a calendar. But He also didn’t tell us to ignore the patterns God placed in His Word.
The feasts of the LORD are not meaningless, so here is the timeline with the upcoming feast days.
Leviticus 23 calls them:
מוֹעֲדִים — moedim
Appointed times. Fixed seasons. Divine appointments.
So if Bible believers are looking at Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles, blood moons, Israel, Iran, the two witnesses, and the rise of some coming covenant system, we aren’t being weird.
We’re doing what watchmen do.
No shame in that.
But we have to keep the order straight.
The rapture does not start Daniel’s 70th week.
The Bible gives the starting gun in Daniel 9:27:
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…”
That’s the trigger.
Not a blood moon.
Not war.
Not even the rapture.
The Antichrist confirming the covenant with many is what starts the final seven.
The rapture happens before that. It could happen on a feast. It could happen on Feast of Trumpets.
Feast of Trumpets 2026 begins at sundown on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Leviticus 23:24 says:
“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.”
Paul said:
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16
And again:
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
1 Corinthians 15:52
Trumpets is a serious watch point.
But Trumpets doesn’t automatically start the tribulation.
The covenant does.
And look at the world right now.
Iran is front and center. Israel is surrounded. The nations are pressuring the Middle East toward some kind of deal, ceasefire, security arrangement, peace framework, or regional covenant.
That’s the kind of pressure cooker where Daniel 9:27 suddenly makes a whole lot more sense.
The war may be the pressure.
The covenant may be the “solution.”
And the man who confirms it may be the one the world mistakes for a peacemaker.
Then comes the final seven.
Revelation gives us prophetic time markers:
1,260 days
42 months
time, times, and half a time
That points to a 360-day prophetic year.
Seven prophetic years equals:
2,520 days
Halfway through that final seven comes the abomination of desolation.
Daniel 9:27 says:
“And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”
Jesus pointed right back to that in Matthew 24:15:
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet…”
That means the midpoint is not vague.
The Antichrist breaks the covenant.
Sacrifice is stopped.
The abomination is set up.
Israel is told to flee.
The second half becomes the Great Tribulation.
Now bring in the two witnesses.
Revelation 11:3 says:
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days…”
That’s 1,260 days.
A lot of Bible students place them in the first half because Revelation 11 is tied to Jerusalem, temple language, measuring, and prophetic testimony before the beast fully unleashes his final rage.
If that placement is right, they testify through the first half.
Then the beast kills them.
Their bodies lie in the street of Jerusalem.
The world celebrates.
Then after three and a half days, God raises them up in front of everybody.
That event is going to shake the world.
Now bring Apophis into the test.
NASA says Apophis will pass close to earth on April 13, 2029. NASA also says it will safely pass by.
So I’m not saying NASA confirmed Wormwood.
They didn’t.
But if we’re testing Apophis as a possible Wormwood overlay, then April 13, 2029 becomes a major watch marker.
Revelation 8:10-11 says:
“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp…”
“And the name of the star is called Wormwood…”
Could Apophis be connected?
Maybe.
Maybe not.
That has to stay in the test category.
But it sure belongs on the map.
Now add Israel’s age.
Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948.
That means Israel turns 80 on May 14, 2028.
Psalm 90:10 says:
“The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years…”
Seventy.
Or by strength, eighty.
Tie that to the fig tree generation conversation, and you can see why Bible students are wide awake right now.
I’m not saying May 14, 2028 is the day.
I’m saying Israel turning 80 in this window is not something I’m brushing off.
Now add the blood moons.
Joel 2:31 says:
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”
Revelation 6:12 says:
“The sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.”
Bible students aren’t crazy for watching blood moons.
But again, keep the order straight.
Blood moons don’t start Daniel’s 70th week.
The covenant does.
Blood moons can act like marker lights.
They don’t drive the whole timeline.
And 2033 has two massive marker lights.
There is a total lunar eclipse on April 14-15, 2033.
That lands in the Passover window.
Passover is blood, lamb, judgment, deliverance, redemption.
Then there is another total lunar eclipse on October 7-8, 2033.
That lands right as Tabernacles begins.
Tabernacles is dwelling, kingdom, restoration, the King reigning with His people.
That’s loud.
Passover blood moon.
Tabernacles blood moon.
Same year.
So we’re watching.
Trumpets 2026 is a rapture watch point.
Iran may be the pressure.
The covenant is the actual starting gun.
The two witnesses have a 1,260-day ministry.
The abomination of desolation hits at the midpoint.
Apophis on April 13, 2029 may be a Wormwood marker, but only as a test.
Israel turns 80 on May 14, 2028.
The 2033 blood moons land on major feast windows.
Atonement pictures judgment, repentance, and Israel looking on the One they pierced.
Tabernacles pictures the Kingdom.
Zechariah 12:10 says:
“They shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him…”
That sounds like Israel’s national reckoning when the Messiah returns.
Then Zechariah 14:16 says:
“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.”
There’s the Kingdom.
There’s the thousand-year reign.
There’s the nations coming up to worship the King.
Revelation 20 says Satan is bound for a thousand years.
Christ reigns.
The curse is pushed back.
The earth finally learns what righteous government looks like.
So the prophetic picture is simple:
Trumpets sounds.
The covenant starts the final seven.
The witnesses testify.
The beast rises.
The abomination splits the week.
Wormwood may have a marker in the heavens.
Blood moons may flash warning lights over the feast calendar.
Israel reaches 80.
The nations rage.
I’m not setting dates.
I’m watching.
It’s been fun watching with you all. Looking forward to meeting you all soon.
Maranatha :)
