HE PRETENDED GOD WAS REAL FOR 30 DAYS. HE DIDN’T MAKE IT TO 30: Brian Guan spent roughly ten years as an atheist. Then he tried something unusual. Instead of arguing about Christianity from the outside, he decided to live for 30 days as though God were actually real. He called it “Faithless Christianity.” Pray every day, even if you’re not sure anyone is listening. Read the Gospels. Go to church. Try to forgive people. Actually follow what Jesus taught. Then see what happens. Brian started documenting the experiment publicly. At first, he was still skeptical. He was basically testing Christianity against his own life. Then his life started changing. His priorities changed. His relationships changed. He started dealing differently with forgiveness, addiction, gratitude and purpose. Eventually the experiment ran straight into the one thing he wasn’t expecting. Jesus Christ. Around Day 20, Brian broke down and admitted he couldn’t keep calling it pretend anymore. “I’m done pretending.” Then came the confession. Jesus Christ is real. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. David wrote, “O taste and see that the LORD is good.” Psalm 34:8 KJV Brian essentially said, “Fine. I’ll taste and see.” Twenty days later, he wasn’t pretending anymore. You can spend your entire life standing outside Christianity criticizing the building. At some point, you might want to open the door. Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7 KJV He still answers the door. #MoreJoyMinistries
