YOU CAN READ THE BIBLE AND STILL MISS GOD:

YOU CAN READ THE BIBLE AND STILL MISS GOD: “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV A man can read the Bible until his eyes fall out and still never truly understand what God is saying. He can learn Hebrew. Study Greek. Memorize chapters. Know the history, the archaeology, the kings, the dates and the manuscripts. None of that gives him spiritual sight. Scripture says the things of God are spiritually discerned. The natural man can understand the words on the page. He can analyze the grammar and argue theology all day long. What he cannot do apart from the Spirit of God is receive Scripture for what it truly is. That explains why one man reads the cross and sees foolishness, while another reads it and sees the power of God unto salvation. Jesus said, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” John 16:13 KJV The Bible isn't just a book you master intellectually. It is the living Word of God, and the Author Himself lives inside the believer. Without the Holy Spirit, you can study the Bible. With the Holy Spirit, the Bible starts studying you. #MoreJoyMinistries
