MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD:

MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD: “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.” -1 Peter 1:7 KJV Peter doesn’t say the trial itself is precious. Pain hurts. Loss hurts. Waiting hurts. What’s precious is the faith that survives it. Gold is tested by fire because heat exposes what’s real and burns away what doesn’t belong. Peter says God does something even greater with our faith. The pressure reveals whether we trusted Him only when life was comfortable or whether we truly believed He was faithful. A tested faith is worth more than gold because gold eventually perishes. Everything we own will stay here. The faith produced through suffering follows us into eternity and will be rewarded when Jesus Christ appears. God isn’t wasting the season you’re in. He sees every prayer that hasn’t been answered yet, every temptation you resisted, every time you kept serving when quitting would’ve been easier. The fire may be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. It may mean He’s refining something in you that comfort never could. The goal isn’t to come out of the fire looking impressive. The goal is to come out still trusting Jesus. One day, the trial will be over. Christ will appear, faith will become sight, and everything you endured for Him will be found unto praise, honor and glory. Hold the line. Your faith is being tested because it’s valuable. #MoreJoyMinistries
