100% PROOF OF THE BIBLE: The Bible doesn't ask you to unplug your brain. It asks you to humble it. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV The claim of the Bible is not small. It claims to be the written word of God. Not man’s best ideas about heaven. Not ancient self-help. Nor religious poetry that aged well. God breathed Scripture through human authors. “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:21 KJV So the real question is simple. Did God leave evidence? Yes. A lot of it... 1. THE UNITY OF THE BIBLE The Bible is 66 books, written by about 40 human authors, across roughly 1,500 years, on 3 continents, in 3 main languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Kings wrote it. Shepherds wrote it. Prophets wrote it. Fishermen wrote it. A tax collector wrote it. A doctor wrote part of it. Prisoners wrote parts of it. These men lived in different centuries, under different empires, in different cultures, with different levels of education, yet the Bible tells one united story from Genesis to Revelation: God made man. Man sinned. God promised a Redeemer. The Redeemer came. The Redeemer died for sin. The Redeemer rose again. The Redeemer is coming back to rule and reign. That kind of unity does not come from random men guessing about God. The Bible opens with creation: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 KJV It ends with the return of Jesus Christ: “Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20 KJV One book. One message. One Author behind the authors. 2. PROPHECY IS GOD’S SIGNATURE This is one of the strongest proofs of Scripture. God tells the end from the beginning. “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else… Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done…” Isaiah 46:9–10 KJV Biblical prophecy is not vague fortune-cookie nonsense. It names people. It names places. It names nations. It gives sequence. It gives detail. Isaiah named Cyrus before Cyrus was even born. “That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure…” Isaiah 44:28 KJV Daniel laid out the rise and fall of kingdoms. Babylon. Medo-Persia. Greece. Rome. Then future kingdoms still connected to the final world system. Daniel 9 even says Messiah would be “cut off” before the destruction of the city and sanctuary. “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself…” Daniel 9:26 KJV Jesus Christ died before Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed in AD 70. That should stop people in their tracks. 3. JESUS FULFILLED THE SCRIPTURES The Bible did not wait until Jesus showed up and then scramble to make Him fit. The Old Testament had already been pointing to Him for centuries. He would be born in Bethlehem. “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah… out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel…” Micah 5:2 KJV He would be rejected. “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief…” Isaiah 53:3 KJV He would be wounded for our sins. “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities…” Isaiah 53:5 KJV He would be silent before His accusers. “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth…” Isaiah 53:7 KJV He would be numbered with transgressors. “…he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many…” Isaiah 53:12 KJV His hands and feet would be pierced. “They pierced my hands and my feet.” Psalm 22:16 KJV His garments would be divided. “They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.” Psalm 22:18 KJV That is exactly what happened at the cross. “They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.” Matthew 27:35 KJV The cross was not God reacting to unknown events. The cross was the plan. Jesus said: “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39 KJV The Bible is not mainly about being nice, feeling spiritual, or joining a religion. The Bible is about Jesus Christ. 4. THE RESURRECTION CHANGES EVERYTHING Christianity does not stand on a philosophy. It stands on an event. Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Paul said if Christ did not rise, our faith is vain. “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:14 KJV That is brutally honest. Paul does not say, “Even if Jesus didn’t rise, at least Christianity teaches good morals.” No. If Jesus stayed dead, Christianity collapses. The apostles preached the resurrection in the same city where Jesus was crucified. They were beaten, jailed, scattered, hated, and killed for saying they had seen Him alive. Men will die for a lie they believe is true. They do not willingly suffer for what they know they invented. Peter denied Jesus before the resurrection. After the resurrection, Peter stood in Jerusalem and preached Christ openly. “God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death…” Acts 2:24 KJV Something changed those men. They saw the risen Christ. 5. THE BIBLE TELLS THE TRUTH ABOUT MAN Another proof of the Bible is how accurately it diagnoses the human heart. The Bible does not flatter us. It exposes us. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9 KJV People lie. People justify themselves. People blame shift. People hide sin. People love darkness when it protects their appetite. Jesus said: “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light…” John 3:19 KJV The Bible understands man because the Creator wrote the manual. We are not basically good people who need a little polish. We are sinners who need a Savior. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 KJV That is why the gospel is not advice. It is rescue. 6. THE BIBLE HAS SURVIVED EVERYTHING The Bible has been hated, burned, mocked, banned, attacked, twisted, and buried. It is still here. Empires died. Kings died. Critics died. Languages shifted. Nations changed names. The Bible is still being read, preached, translated, studied, attacked, and fulfilled. Jesus said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35 KJV That's preservation. “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89 KJV Man does not preserve God’s word because man is strong. God preserves His word because God is faithful. 7. ARCHAEOLOGY KEEPS CATCHING UP People have mocked the Bible for years, only for dirt, stones, inscriptions, ruins, and ancient records to embarrass them later. The Bible mentions real kings. Real cities. Real nations. Real customs. Real geography. Real places you can put your finger on. Jerusalem was real. Babylon was real. Nineveh was real. Assyria was real. Egypt was real. Rome was real. Pontius Pilate was real. The Pool of Bethesda was real. The house of David was not a fairy tale. Archaeology does not save your soul, but it has a funny way of confirming that the Bible speaks about real history, not fiction. 8. ISRAEL IS A LIVING WITNESS God made promises to Israel. The nations tried to erase Israel. Egypt couldn’t do it. Assyria couldn’t do it. Babylon couldn’t do it. Rome couldn’t do it. Hitler couldn’t do it. The modern world still can’t do it. God said Israel would be scattered, preserved, hated, and brought back. “And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them…” Amos 9:14 KJV Israel’s existence is not just political. It's prophetic. You can hate it, ignore it, explain around it, or get mad at it. They are still there. Exactly like Scripture said. 9. REVELATION PROVES YOU NEED THE WHOLE BIBLE A lot of people jump into Revelation because they heard words like antichrist, 666, Armageddon, mark of the beast, rapture, end times, and new earth. Then they get confused and act like Revelation is the problem. It isn’t. Revelation has 404 verses and makes hundreds of allusions to the Old Testament. Roughly three quarters of the Bible is Old Testament. So when people skip Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Psalms, and the prophets, then open Revelation and say, “This makes no sense,” they are proving the point. God gave a whole Bible. Not a fortune-teller pamphlet at the back. Revelation is not disconnected from the rest of Scripture. It is the capstone. The same God who starts history in Genesis finishes it in Revelation. 10. THE BIBLE PREDICTED THE WORLD WE LIVE IN The Bible said the last days would be marked by deception, scoffing, moral collapse, hatred of truth, global pressure, spiritual blindness, and people mocking the return of Christ. “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts…” 2 Peter 3:3 KJV Paul said men would be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, proud, blasphemers, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, false accusers, despisers of those that are good, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Read 2 Timothy 3 and tell me that does not sound like the evening news with Wi-Fi. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” 2 Timothy 3:1 KJV The Bible is not behind the times. The times are catching up to the Bible. 11. THE WORD OF GOD DOES WHAT NO OTHER BOOK DOES The Bible does not merely inform. It cuts. It searches. It convicts. It exposes. It heals. It feeds. It washes. It strengthens. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword…” Hebrews 4:12 KJV You can read other books and learn facts. You read the Bible and the Bible reads you. It shows you your sin. It shows you your Savior. It shows you where history is going. It shows you why the world is broken. It shows you why Jesus had to die. It shows you why He is coming back. 12. THE GREATEST PROOF IS JESUS CHRIST The strongest proof of the Bible is not an artifact in a museum. It is not a debate clip. It is not a chart. It is Jesus Christ Himself. The Scriptures pointed to Him before He came. He fulfilled them when He came. He quoted them while He was here. He opened them after He rose. He will finish everything they promised when He returns. Jesus said: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17 KJV Not “thy word contains truth.” Not “thy word has some truth.” “Thy word is truth.” So when someone asks me if I believe the Bible is true, my answer is yes. Fully. Completely. Without apology. The Bible tells me where I came from. Why I am broken. Why the world is dying. Who Jesus is. Why the cross was necessary. How salvation is received. Where history is headed. Who wins. The Bible is not man reaching up to God. It is God reaching down to man. The proof is there. The problem is not evidence. The problem is pride. Because if the Bible is true, man is not his own god. He is accountable to the real One. “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” Isaiah 40:8 KJV The Bible has survived every critic, every empire, every fire, every king, every philosopher, every false teacher, every demon, and every generation that thought they were smart enough to outgrow it. They all pass. The word stays. #MoreJoyMinistries
