Revelation 3:11 (NKJV) says, Behold, I come quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. God promises five distinct crowns to believers who run the race of faith with perseverance. These stephanos are not earthly tokens of power but eternal rewards Christ gives at the Bema for faithful service, love, and endurance. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NKJV) says, Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it… Now they do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable… Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty… lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. The Imperishable Crown rewards those who run the Christian race with discipline, denying the flesh and pressing toward the goal. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NKJV) says, And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. The Crown of Rejoicing belongs to the soul-winner. It represents the joy of presenting those we led to Christ before His throne. 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 (NKJV) says, For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? For you are our glory and joy. The Crown of Righteousness goes to believers who love His appearing and live with eager expectation of the rapture. 2 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV) says, Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. The Crown of Glory is the shepherd’s reward for those who feed and care for God’s people with humility. 1 Peter 5:2-4 (NKJV) says, Shepherd the flock of God which is among you… nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. The Crown of Life is for those who endure trials and persecution. James 1:12 (NKJV) says, Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Revelation 2:10 says, Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 says, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day. Matthew 25:21 says, Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord. Hold fast. Your crowns are waiting. #MoreJoyMinistries
