Did God’s Son Pre-Exist in Heaven? Yes - The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus existed in Heaven before His birth in Bethlehem. He did not begin to exist when Mary conceived Him. He entered the world as the eternal Son of God. “In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God… and the Word was made flesh.” (John 1:1,14) Jesus already was when creation began, and later became flesh. Jesus said, “I came down from heaven.” (John 6:38) You cannot come down from Heaven unless you were already there. He also declared, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58) Using God’s eternal name, Jesus claimed timeless existence. In prayer He said, “Glorify Me… with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” (John 17:5) Jesus shared glory with the Father before creation. Paul wrote, “By Him all things were created… and He is before all things.” (Colossians 1:16–17) Jesus is not part of creation..He is its Creator. Even prophecy affirms it: The Messiah would be born in Bethlehem, yet His origin is “from everlasting.” (Micah 5:2) Conclusion: Jesus is the eternal Son of God who came down from Heaven, took on human flesh, died for our sins, rose again, and returned to glory. Not a created being. Not merely a great teacher. Not just a prophet. The eternal Word made flesh. - More Joy Ministries
