GOD WILL STEER, BUT YOU MUST ROW: “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 KJV God directs our steps, but that verse assumes we’re actually taking some. Faith isn’t sitting in the boat with your arms crossed, waiting for God to move the oars. Pray for direction. Trust His leading. Then get to work. Noah still had to build the ark. Moses still had to stretch out the rod. Israel still had to march around Jericho. God supplied what they couldn’t do, but He expected them to obey with what they could do. “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.” Proverbs 21:31 KJV Prepare the horse. Make the plan. Put your hand to the work. Just don’t confuse your effort with the One who gives the victory. Some people call laziness “waiting on God.” They’ve prayed about the same thing for years but haven’t taken one obedient step toward it. There comes a time when you have to quit staring at the shoreline, put the oars in the water, and move. God will steer. But you must row. #MoreJoyMinistries
